There is lots. And i mean Lots of good ones.

Just go for one in your price range. I have a Line six floor pod. Does the job for me. Performs well on stage.

then you should just buy a new amp... you're not getting a nice canon rock sound from a 10w amp... seriously..

quick question, whats the difference between an amplifier and speakers?
I have a 40Watt Kustom amp and a Panasonic 1000Watt 5speaker + 1sub wireless system.

I can connect my guitar directly into the panasonic.
My question mainly relates to home use and practice...

Cuz the speakers are passive... they don't have any power running through them so they only serve to louden (< is that even a word?) the sound of the amp/head. So basically you could contact the speakers to the amp...

@wr3322

Err... A Pod XT Live?

Heero.... geez man x.x

he said cheap, not $700...

for a CHEAP effects unit that will get the job done, id recommend a POD 2.0, only $150 or so on Ebay, and has 90% of the stuff you need to get that jerryC tone...

90% because jerry uses the metal-shop patch tones...
